Will a seasoned connoisseur or dedicated collector be able to accept the fact that his timepieces is not a unique object? As we have seen, the uniqueness of a watch lies essentially in the finishing and ornamentation made by watch decoration specialists. Despite the determination to maintain this tradition which is clearly displayed by high-end Manufacturers, would this tradition still exist if the artist's unique touch could be replaced by a machine? One certainly cannot be sure of that...
