Héritière d’une histoire de la création horlogère unique au monde, la Vallée des montres compliquées a vu pourtant ses lieux d’habitation rester humbles et fonctionnels.
Une adaptation architecturale particulière permettant de se marier aux conditions climatiques a cependant vu le jour dans ces lieux de vie: de vénérables bâtisses, à l’abri desquelles et durant le long hiver, étaient créées des merveilles d’architecture micro-mécanique: les horloges miniatures.

Laying claim to a history of watch production unique in the world, the Valley famed for the manufacture of complicated watches has nonetheless seen its dwelling places remain humble and functional.
A particular architectural adaptation did however develop in these communities in response to climatic conditions: venerable old farmhouses where during the long winter months farmers created marvellous works of micro-engineering: miniature clocks.

Im Tal der komplizierten Uhren, das auf eine weltweit einzigartige Geschichte kreativen uhrmacherischen Schaffens zurückblickt, hat man bescheiden und funktionell gebaut.
An den Höfen der einheimischen "Uhrmacher-Bauern" ist jedoch eine gelungene architektonische Anpassung an die klimatischen Bedingungen zu beobachten.
Im Schutz ihrer ehrwürdigen Mauern entstanden in langen Wintern Wunderwerke mechanischer Mikro-Architektur: Miniaturuhren.
